The RoleAs a Senior Solutions Architect at Abyss, you will lead the design of complex, end-to-end solutions that merge our flagship platform with our customers’ technology portfolios.

The right person for this role has the ability to take a complex problem and make it simple, not the other way around.

You’ll be trained up to be a technical subject matter expert across all aspects of our professional and managed services offerings, guiding both new and existing clients from initial discovery through full implementation.

Working closely with sales, delivery teams, and data scientists—as well as directly with customers—you will translate requirements, architect robust solutions, and ensure our products are deployed successfully in a variety of challenging environments.

Your work with strategic customers will enable you to spot opportunities for new features and products, and you’ll collaborate with product managers and engineering leaders to continuously refine and improve Abyss’s SaaS platform.

In this role, you’ll enjoy a blend of consulting, solution architecture, and product development, supported by a cross-functional team that values openness, learning, and mutual support.

Customer Engagement & Onboarding:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical and business needs.
  • Lead onboarding processes for seamless adoption of Abyss solutions.
  • Provide hands-on guidance for integrating products into client environments.

Technical Consultation:

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customer inquiries and challenges.
  • Design and present customized solutions aligned with customer objectives.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure timely resolution.

Product Advocacy & Opportunities:

  • Identify operational gaps and opportunities where Abyss Solutions can deliver value.
  • Gather feedback to guide product improvements and Evangelise the adoption of new features
  • Advocate for customer needs internally to influence product roadmaps.

Integration Analysis:

  • Analyze and plan integration with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and other key industry platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and test integrations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner with sales, product development, and engineering teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, and training.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for customers, building long-term relationships.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 9+ years in a solutions architect, technical consulting, or similar role.
  • Strong experience in B2B customer engagement and designing technical solutions.
