Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting the execution of Abyss Solutions' marketing initiatives across digital, brand, content, events, and commercial campaigns. This role works closely with the VP Marketing and cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing activities that strengthen brand awareness, generate leads, and support business development objectives.

The Marketing Coordinator will assist in campaign execution, content creation, social media management, event coordination, marketing analytics, and administrative support while ensuring consistency across all marketing communications. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-paced technology company.

Key responsibilities:

Marketing operations and CRM architecture

  • Own HubSpot as a system of record for marketing: object model, property governance, lifecycle stages, scoring, workflows, and reporting.
  • Design and maintain the lead qualification framework, including MQL definition, fit scoring, and engagement scoring.
  • Build and run data quality programs across contact and company records: persona classification, segmentation, enrichment, and deduplication.
  • Comfortable with working with HubSpot API and programming knowledge is a material advantage in this role.
  • Partner with other departments (Sales, Product, RevOps) to build the HubSpot systems for project tracking and for ELT visibility.

Product marketing

  • Translate product capability into positioning, messaging, and proof for a technical audience.
  • Own launch: briefs, tiering, messaging hierarchy, enablement assets, and post-launch adoption tracking in partnership with Product.
  • Produce collateral that the commercial team will use: one-pagers, pitch decks, and competitive battlecards.
  • Maintain a claims register so that every quantified statement in the market has a traceable source.

Content and web

  • Own the website: information architecture, copy, and the ongoing accuracy of technical claims across Platform, Solutions, Industries, and Services.
  • Write technical marketing copy grounded in source material: standard operating procedures, defect grading classifications, inspection methodologies, and customer outcomes.
  • Run the editorial calendar across website and campaign assets.
  • Be comfortable with programming languages and have working knowledge of github & website creation.
  • Have a working knowledge of React and NextJS to maintain and update websites as needed.

Market and competitive intelligence

  • Maintain a working view of competitors
  • Turn that view into commercial artifacts: narratives, differentiation claims, and pricing context.
  • Build and run named-account motion against a defined target list of operators
  • Design and operate paid programs on LinkedIn and adjacent channels.

Field and events

  • Own conference and event strategy: which events earn attendance, what the objective is, and how outcomes are measured.
  • Run cycle for priority events, including booth strategy, target invite lists, hospitality, field playbooks, and follow-up sequencing.

Preferred skills

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, content marketing, and social media management.
  • Experience using marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce, or similar CRM/marketing automation tools is desirable.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms and analytics tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, and digital advertising concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar design tools is advantageous.
  • Experience coordinating events, webinars, or promotional activities is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and prepare reports.
  • Experience working within B2B technology, engineering, SaaS, AI, robotics, or industrial sectors is considered an advantage.
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed or remote teams is beneficial.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
Professional certifications in Digital Marketing, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Meta, LinkedIn Marketing, or similar platforms are advantageous.
