Human Health
Our mission is to give everyone access to personalised healthcare.
Nearly three-quarters of the global population are affected by chronic disease (WHO), yet most healthcare innovation targets the wealthy - with concierge clinics, luxury wearables, and $1,000+ blood tests out of reach for most.
Human Health was founded by two ex-Canva product leaders, Kate and Georgia, to change that - making precision healthcare radically accessible for the 99%, not just biohackers or billionaires. Human helps people living with chronic conditions like ADHD, autoimmune disease, long COVID, anxiety, and rare illnesses track their health, build a full medical record, and get personalised insights - all while contributing to one of the world’s largest living datasets on chronic illness.
With over 150,000 users in the US and fast-growing adoption, Human is turning real-world health data into research at scale - reshaping treatment pathways and accelerating medical breakthroughs for everyone.

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team!
What success in your first year looks like
Success in your first year as a Senior Product Designer at Human means you’ve helped shape and ship thoughtful, intuitive experiences that genuinely improve the lives of people with chronic conditions and help us hit our ambitious targets. You’ve brought fresh creative thinking, grounded in user insight and data, and translated it into measurable impact on MAUs and revenue. You’ve built deep empathy for our users, contributed to a culture of continuous learning and feedback, and worked closely with product and engineering to take features from insight to impact. Most importantly, you’ve helped tens of thousands more people living with chronic conditions discover Human – and feel seen, supported, and understood. By the end of your first year we should be getting user reviews saying “wow this product is so intuitive and simple and it does everything I want and more! I love it!!!”.
What You’ll be doing
- Drive user-centred design by conducting user research, understanding user needs, analysing market trends, and aligning with business goals.
- Help shape the product by translating insights into solutions, and influencing strategic design decisions.
- Bring ideas to life through flowcharts, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes - then test and iterate based on user feedback.
- Collaborate cross-functionally by working closely with product, data, engineering and growth to ship high-quality, intuitive experiences.
- Own outcomes by setting clear goals, tracking progress, staying super organised, managing risks, and developing the design specialty and processes at Human - including mentoring or hiring designers as needed.
- Bolster our brand: In the age of ‘an AI tool for everything’, great brands will win. You will ensure the product experience is consistent with our brand ethos — ensuring it tells a story and evokes a feeling — just like our marketing does.
Must-haves:
- Proven experience: 5+ years designing, shipping, and iterating on user-centric products — must include a portfolio demonstrating your ability.
- Strong user research skills: Comfortable conducting interviews and translating insights into design decisions.
- Big-picture thinking with hands-on execution: You enjoy shaping vision but are also happy getting into the details to make it real.
- Excellent communication: Clear visual, written, and verbal skills — you’re confident collaborating and presenting your work.
- Collaborative and flexible mindset: Experience working with diverse teams and building strong relationships with engineers and cross-functional partners.
Nice-to-haves:
- Leadership experience: Background in recruiting, mentoring, or managing a design team.
- Healthcare expertise: Experience designing products in or adjacent to the healthcare space.
