About the team

The Channel Partnerships team in Hong Kong plays a pivotal role in driving Airwallex’s growth by expanding and strengthening partner relationships across three key industries: Accounting, Startups, and E-commerce. These partnerships are vital to enhancing Airwallex’s brand visibility, customer acquisition efforts, and fostering product integrations as well as co-marketing opportunities. By collaborating with key industry players, the team ensures Airwallex remains at the forefront of innovation and delivers impactful solutions to our partners and customers alike.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Partnerships Associate (Operations) to join our Channel Partnership team in Hong Kong. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the team’s growth and success by driving strategic projects focused on scalability, operational excellence, and process optimization. As a key player in our expansion efforts, you will take ownership of logistical and operational initiatives that enhance the efficiency of our Channel Partnership programs. Additionally, you’ll have the flexibility to support the Channel Partnership Managers in partner-facing activities, including success meetings and events, fostering strong relationships with our partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Team Lead of the Channel Partnership team to design and manage projects/processes that can drive achieving commercial KPIs and optimising growth.

  • Partner with key stakeholders on the Channel Partnerships team to execute important projects, including territory planning, forecasting, and optimizing operational scalability.

  • Manage day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring processes are executed efficiently and accurately to support team objectives with Salesforce and other data platforms.

  • Analyze performance metrics (e.g., pipeline health, win rates, churn) to identify trends, address gaps, and develop actionable strategies for improvement.

  • Work alongside the Channel Partner Manager to build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with partners, fostering trust and collaboration.

  • Design and implement innovative campaigns to boost partner engagement, generate referrals, and drive scalable growth across the partner ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with internal teams—including operations and other commercial functions—to deliver seamless and impactful experiences for our partners.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • 1-3 years of experience in revenue operations/sales operations, or operational roles

  • Commercial roles with proven operations experience will also be considered

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics tools (e.g., Sheets, Tableau, Looker).

  • Strong verbal and written communication in both Cantonese & English preferred

  • Proven ability to identify and execute on process improvements.

  • Experience in fast-paced environments, preferably in a startup or scale-up preferred.
    Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
