What you’ll do
We’re looking for a strategic, analytical, and technically fluent marketing leader to drive the future of AI innovation, conversion optimization, and ad operations excellence across the organization.
As the Associate Director, Futures (AI Tools), CRO, and Ad Operations, you will define and operationalize the AI strategy and technology roadmap that powers the next generation of marketing performance. You’ll lead three interdependent workstreams:
Futures (AI Tools) — evaluation, rollout, and enablement of marketing AI systems.
CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) — experimentation frameworks and UX performance.
Ad Operations — infrastructure, tagging, and campaign governance.
You’ll connect strategy to execution by embedding automation, efficiency, and intelligence into every stage of the marketing lifecycle — from creative production to lead attribution.
This role is based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
Lead the AI marketing tools strategy, centralizing evaluation, identification, and rollout of AI and automation technologies across Performance Marketing, Creative, and Analytics.
Create a systematic evaluation framework for emerging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Firefly, Mutiny, Dynamic Yield, Jasper, Descript, Synthesia, etc.) based on ROI, scalability, security, and integration readiness.
Build and maintain a central repository and roadmap of approved AI tools — ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment across global teams.
Partner with Engineering, IT, and Legal to assess integration feasibility, data governance, and vendor due diligence.
Drive AI tool implementation and training — creating playbooks, workflows, and enablement materials for marketing teams.
Measure adoption, performance, and impact of AI-enabled initiatives on creative velocity, testing output, and pipeline results.
Own the global CRO framework, driving measurable improvements in CVR, CAC, and pipeline through structured experimentation.
Oversee landing page testing, personalization, and UX optimization.
Partner with Web Engineering and Product Marketing to ensure alignment between campaign messaging, landing experience, and conversion flow.
Build a global repository of CRO test learnings and implement scalable frameworks across regions.
Align CRO initiatives with AI experimentation — leveraging AI to automate hypothesis generation, content iteration, and audience segmentation.
Lead Ad Operations excellence, ensuring clean, automated, and compliant campaign execution across all paid media platforms.
Manage tracking, pixel governance, and UTM frameworks, ensuring end-to-end attribution integrity across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and programmatic channels.
Partner with RevOps, Analytics, and MarTech to integrate CRM (Salesforce, Marketo) with ad platforms for offline conversion imports and lead-source accuracy.
Build automation and QA frameworks that ensure flawless execution and reduce manual overhead.
Standardize campaign setup, naming conventions, and reporting structures across global teams.
Manage a cross-functional team spanning AI innovation, CRO, and Ad Operations specialists.
Partner with Global Performance Marketing, Lifecycle, and Creative teams to identify where AI and automation can drive measurable gains.
Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, and MarTech to align AI integrations with analytics infrastructure.
Communicate program impact and insights to executive leadership with clarity and rigor.
Serve as the internal evangelist for AI and automation, fostering a culture of experimentation, technical curiosity, and operational excellence.
Who you are

Demonstrated success building or leading AI enablement programs within marketing organizations.
