Attributes We Value
We hire successful builders with founder-like energy who want real impact, accelerated learning, and true ownership. You bring strong role-related expertise and sharp thinking, and you’re motivated by our mission and operating principles. You move fast with good judgment, dig deep with curiosity, and make decisions from first principles, balancing speed and rigor.
You're humble and collaborative; turn zero‑to‑one ideas into real products, and you “get stuff done” end-to-end. You use AI to work smarter and solve problems faster. Here, you’ll tackle complex, high‑visibility problems with exceptional teammates and grow your career as we build the future of global banking. If that sounds like you, let’s build what’s next.
About the team
Airwallex aspires to partner with the most ambitious businesses globally. The SME & Growth sales team is where this partnership begins. Your primary focus will be bringing on new customers within South Korea’s trading and distribution ecosystem—authorized distributors, trading houses, and channel partners—and leveraging your skills in pitching, negotiating, and driving internal processes to set up our partnerships for success. We are looking for someone who has a passion for building relationships, selling, and negotiating, and a desire to revolutionise the way companies transact globally.
If you have a customer-first mentality, are solution-focused, obsessively curious about everything, and have the desire to make an impact and grow yourself, our market, and our customers, then you have found your calling. With the commission structure for this role, there is a significant upside for won opportunities. If you’re hungry, smart, persistent, and a great teammate, we want to hear from you!
About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SDR, Outbound Sales to join our SME & Growth team in South Korea. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the team’s growth and success by driving strategic projects and sales initiatives that are focused on scalability, operational excellence, and process optimisation.
As a key player in our expansion efforts, you will take ownership of logistical and operational initiatives that enhance the efficiency of our outbound sales programs across verticals. Additionally, you will support Account Executives (AEs) in prospect-facing activities, including sales meetings, campaigns, and events, helping to foster strong relationships with our prospects and customers.
Responsibilities
Support the Outbound team to design and manage projects and processes that drive commercial KPIs and optimise growth across priority verticals.
Partner with key stakeholders in the Outbound, Marketing, and Revenue Strategy & Operations teams to execute important projects, including territory/vertical planning, forecasting, and optimising scalability of our outbound motions.

Analyse performance metrics (e.g. outreach productivity, pipeline health, win rates) to identify trends, address gaps, and develop actionable strategies for improvement.
Work alongside SDRs and AEs to support building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with prospects and customers, fostering trust and collaboration.
Design and support the execution of innovative outbound campaigns to boost prospect engagement, generate qualified meetings, and drive scalable growth across our target verticals.
Collaborate with internal teams—including Operations, Marketing, Product, and other commercial functions—to deliver seamless and impactful experiences for prospects throughout the sales journey.
