About the team
The Marketing team at Airwallex drives brand awareness and customer engagement through innovative and strategic campaigns. We work to communicate the value of our financial solutions, attract new customers, and strengthen relationships with existing ones. By leveraging data-driven insights and creative strategies, we ensure Airwallex stands out in a competitive market. What you’ll do
We’re seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Operations Manager that will play a crucial role in developing and executing automated marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You’ll collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams around the world to develop and execute ABM strategies, using Marketo and other platforms to effectively target accounts. You’re a strategic thinker with a strong background in Marketing Automation platforms, data analysis, and campaign optimization. You’re a resourceful, creative go-getter who is eager to help shape the next phase of Airwallex’s growth.
The role is based in San Francisco
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and execute B2B marketing campaigns using Marketo, including email templates, workflows, segmentation, and automation rules. Oversee all technical aspects to make sure they are optimized for campaign success.
Spin up landing pages using existing, team-maintained templates; maintain a strong working knowledge of landing page and email best practices.
Build and manage target account audiences in Demandbase, Hightouch, Salesforce, and Marketo, and activate them across downstream channels by feeding audiences into LinkedIn, Google Ads, or Meta Ads for retargeting to drive ABM-focused marketing motions.
Set up and execute outreach sequences in Outreach.io, including post-event automation.
Execute (not architect) infrastructure tasks supporting mass email sending, such as warming up additional sending domains/inboxes as directed.
Set up and test the webinar registration/routing system; QA lead routing after every lead upload to confirm records are routed correctly, catching errors before they reach the sales team.
Own quality control on your own output: proactively flag ambiguous or risky sends (e.g., audience segments that include existing customers, or accounts owned by other regions) rather than sending on autopilot.
Develop and implement complex automation workflows in Marketo, including lead nurturing, drip campaigns, and triggered communications.
Provide day-to-day support to the US Marketing and Sales teams on the use of Marketo, Salesforce, Outreach, and Hightouch, following established best practices and playbooks.
Ensure all ABM activities comply with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal security policies, particularly in handling and processing account data.
Who you are
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

5+ years of experience working with Marketing Automation tools (e.g. Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), especially in a B2B environment.
A track record of working with Marketing and Sales teams to deploy successful ABM campaigns.
Strong analytical skills, a data driven orientation, and uncompromising attention to detail.
Solid communication and collaboration skills, both internally and externally.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and email design best practices, with hands-on experience building landing pages and email campaigns.
Experience working across MarTech platforms such as Mutiny, Outreach, Marketo, Contentful, or similar tools.
Portfolio required: Please prepare to include a portfolio showcasing relevant landing pages, email campaigns, or other digital marketing assets you have created during the interview process.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Hightouch or a similar CDP to build, manage, and activate target audiences as needed.

Adobe Marketo Engage certification and basic SQL skills are good to have.
