Reporting to the Head of Finance, as Financial Controller you'll ensure the financial health and stability of Futureverse by overseeing and managing all financial activities.

What you'll be doing

• Support the Head of Finance, Finance Manager and wider Finance team.
• Manage the accounting and financial reporting functions of the company.
• Supervise the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payment of bills and accurate recording of customer payments.
• Oversee the month-end close process, including the preparation of financial statements and related schedules.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage the budgeting process, including the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the company’s cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring of cash balances.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
• Manage the external annual audit.
• Preparation of R&D incentives and grants.
• Provide financial analysis and support to senior management, including ad-hoc analysis and special projects.
• Participate in the development of long-term financial strategies and plans.
