The most painful part of a provider’s day consists of hours of late-night administrative work, writing detailed documentation in the medical record for each of their visits. We’re starting to see the consequences of this widespread documentation burden: providers are burning out and resigning from their careers in medicine at record rates. Until now, healthcare systems have been unable to find any solutions that work.
Ambience's flagship product, Ambience AutoScribe, is a fully automated AI medical scribe that captures the nuances of provider-patient conversation in real-time into comprehensive medical documentation within the EMR, so providers can focus on what matters most: caring for patients. The product is used by our providers every single day, and for the first time in years, they are able to get home on time for dinner without any documentation homework. Now, our providers refuse to practice without AutoScribe.

As we experience tremendous pull from the market for our product and on the heels of an oversubscribed Series A round (backed by a16z, Human Capital, and OpenAI, amongst others), we’re actively growing the team across sales, marketing, product, engineering, clinical, and customer success functions.
The Role:
Ambience Healthcare has deployed the industry’s first and only fully-automated AI scribing solution that generates clinical documentation in real-time to a quality standard that requires very minimal editing time from the provider.
As an Account Executive, your mission will be to prospect, nurture, and close net new business within target health systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Successfully run a full-cycle enterprise sales process, prospecting leads from a target account list, booking and owning discovery calls, running product demos, building stakeholder maps, navigating complex decision-making processes at health systems, negotiating terms, and inking contracts
- Effectively navigate large decision-making units with matrixed buying structures to align your efforts with the buying process of each organization
- Establish strong relationships with decision-makers and champions within each organization who will work with you to gain the needed buy-in for each deal
- Cleanly articulate the value proposition and ROI of Ambience’s suite of AI products to clinical and non-clinical executive stakeholders
- Work closely with the marketing team to accelerate high-priority accounts through the sales process across channels encompassing tradeshows and events, paid advertising, and other marketing campaigns
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to close larger health system deals
Who You Are:
- You have 6+ years of experience successfully selling net new business software to CXO healthcare executives at enterprise health systems
- You have direct experience within the Medical Scribing solution space or a related product field (revenue cycle management, software related to driving operational efficiency for hospitals) is preferred
- You have the ability to articulate the value Ambience generates to multiple stakeholders within the decision-making unit, including clinical and non-clinical executives
- You have the ability to execute a pre, during, and post-conference sales strategy
- You are willing to travel (approximately up to 50%-70% of the time)
- You have a demonstrated ability to resourcefully drive outsized outcomes, even on accelerated timelines and with startup-level resources
- You have a demonstrated ability to thrive in environments with high levels of complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity.

Compensation:
$140,000-$165,000, OTE of $420,000 and the addition of significant equity.
