About the Group/Team

Marketing’s mission at Canva is for Canva to become “the most loved brand in the world”. Canva’s International Marketing Group is a diverse and distributed group of marketers who take this mission forward to drive user growth, brand awareness, and affinity in our priority international markets.

As part of the International Marketing Group, our Europe Marketing team for driving market-specific growth goals and comprehensive market strategies across Europe across a variety of functions - performance marketing, brand, events, partnerships, social, community engagement and other growth channels.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Owning campaign delivery end to end, ensuring activities run on time and aligned to the strategy (with the support of the Campaign Operations manager)
  • Bringing the work of our talented channel owners together to maximise their impact through strategic campaign planning
  • Coaching our amazing Campaign Operations Manager who will support on the development of campaign plans and guide their execution
  • Working closely with local Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Social & Community to identify exciting and relevant campaign-able opportunities throughout the year
  • Gathering and surfacing insights to stimulate support investment strategies and stimulate creative development
  • Building holistic campaign briefs, which include cross channel activations, rooted in insight with clear measures for success
  • Supporting the development of regional messaging strategies, by surfacing insights gathered through campaign development and campaign performance data
  • Mapping user journeys to help identify a clear role for communications at each stage of campaign planning
  • Owning post campaign analysis reporting and ensure learnings are always distributed effectively across the team, and applied to future activity


You're probably a match if

  • You have 8 years+ experience of developing outcome focussed strategies, ideally at both a market and regional level
  • You love to organise and are an expert in bringing people & plans together
  • You can demonstrate the impact of activities you have owned in the past
  • You enjoy project work and end to end project ownership and have experience across all Marketing channels as well as agency management experience
  • You are a self starter and can build processes from scratch but follow a playbook when you need to
  • You can find quick solutions if programmes or plans go off track
