Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a campus in Austin, Texas which is now home to our US operations. What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Canva’s Global Implementation team. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to refine and expand the implementation strategy, while managing a team of Implementation Managers. You’ll streamline processes and playbooks to meet KPIs and help launch paid implementation services. You’ll work closely with sales, success, product, and engineering teams to ensure long-term customer success, while representing the voice of the customer in product development. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, giving you the autonomy to drive decisions in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- You will coach and mentor Implementation Managers to drive their growth and success through hands-on guidance.
- You will continuously assess and optimize internal processes to ensure maximum efficiency and impact.
- You will track, analyze, and improve performance on key metrics and KPIs to drive team and customer success.
- You will work closely with Sales, Customer Education, TAM, CSMs, and User Voice teams to create a smooth, seamless customer journey.
- You will partner with Product and Engineering teams to enhance product functionality and ensure it meets customer needs.
- You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and launch new service packages that deliver exceptional value to customers.
You're probably a match if
- 6+ years of SaaS experience in professional services, implementation, or customer success.
- 2+ years of leadership experience, with a strong passion for mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Operational excellence, with the ability to streamline processes and optimize systems for maximum efficiency.
- Data-driven mindset, experienced in tracking and improving performance metrics to drive success.
- Self-starter, eager to take on new challenges and quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and action-focused, ensuring initiatives are executed with great follow-through.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Customer-centric approach, with a knack for executing changes that put the customer at the heart of everything we do.
About the team
Implementation at Canva is a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in our global success. We are the key enablers for customers to fully realize the value of Canva’s features, ensuring they are motivated, empowered, and equipped to use the product effectively. Our work directly impacts how customers streamline workflows, maintain consistent branding, accelerate campaign launches, and foster greater design independence, all while prioritizing security.
As the leader of this global team, you will manage 7 ICs and collaborate with senior leaders to co-create and execute the team’s strategic vision. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive a vision that positions implementation as a key differentiator for Canva.
