Canva is seeking a highly motivated Associate IT/Tech Support Engineer to join our team to support Canvanauts to do the best work of their lives! It's more than tickets at Canva - you'll have the opportunity to contribute to projects that improve our service delivery, learn new skills and work in a collaborative, globally distributed team.
We're looking for someone who's passionate about excellent customer experience and has a drive to learn about new technologies within IT / AV / Tech support environment.
Canva Manila / Shifting Schedule Note: This is a hybrid role and requires regular on-site days to support our team at our amazing Canva Manila office in Makati.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
Provide remote and on-site tech support to Canvanauts with a focus on macOS devices & SaaS applications in a service desk environment.
Support audiovisual (AV) systems for meeting rooms, office technology, and internal/external events, ensuring a smooth and reliable experience for all users.
Respond to service requests across our global support channels, collaborating with our team to assist Canvanauts in different regions with empathy and clarity.
Contribute to continuous improvements in service delivery by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, including through the use of automation and AI tools.
Write clear, comprehensive documentation and actively share knowledge with the team to improve collective understanding and support quality.
Proactively seek context and guidance when solving issues, asking thoughtful questions to improve outcomes and enhance the support experience for Canvanauts.
You're probably a match if
You’re adaptable and flexible, and comfortable working in an environment with change and ambiguity.
You’re enthusiastic about helping others, whether in person or remotely, while embracing new technologies.
You have a strong interest in IT support — any hands-on experience (even from school, internships, or personal projects) is a big plus!
You’re comfortable with Apple/Mac hardware and enjoy figuring out how software and systems work.
You’re familiar with (or eager to learn) tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Okta, Zoom, Jira, and Confluence.
You communicate clearly — both when chatting with users and writing documentation.
You manage multiple tasks well, stay organized, and enjoy solving puzzles.
You’re open to working on a shifting schedule and in a hybrid setup (some days in our beautiful Makati office).

Our Global Tech Support team sits within the Technology Experience group under the Security, Trust & IT supergroup. We’re the friendly faces (and helpful minds) behind the scenes, making sure every Canvanaut has the tools and support they need to do the best work of their lives. From troubleshooting laptop issues to supporting onboarding and offboarding, we thrive on creating smooth, secure, and delightful tech experiences across the globe.
