Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role, we’re focusing on São Paulo so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 12-month engagement, working full-time.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
Building, launching, and scaling Canva’s Creators Community in Brazil, supporting local designers and creators to contribute high-quality, culturally relevant templates.
Defining and executing the Brazil Creator strategy, aligned with global priorities while tapping into Brazilian cultural moments, trends, and campaigns.
Onboarding, engaging, and nurturing creators, helping them connect deeply with Canva’s mission, values, and creative standards.
Partnering cross-functionally with Content, Marketing, SEO, and Product teams to deliver local-first initiatives and campaigns.
Creating clear, inclusive, and inspiring communications that motivate creators across different community channels.
Providing structured, actionable feedback to creators, strengthening quality and consistency of template output.
Tracking community health, engagement, and content performance, using data and insights to continuously improve the program.
Building trusted relationships with creators, creative communities, and partners across Brazil.
You're probably a match if
YOU are passionate about creators and community, and get energy from building relationships, fostering belonging, and helping creative people thrive.
YOU understand Brazilian culture deeply, and can translate local trends, moments, and nuances into content that resonates with Brazilian users.
YOU’ve built or scaled communities before, especially in creative, contributor-based, or digital ecosystems.
YOU are comfortable balancing strategy and execution, moving between long-term program building and hands-on delivery.
YOU enjoy working cross-functionally, collaborating with content, marketing, SEO, and product partners to drive impact.
YOU are data-informed but people-first, using insights to guide decisions while leading with empathy and trust.
About the team
You’ll join Canva’s regional LATAM team, working closely with global Community and Content partners. The team is highly collaborative, impact-driven, and passionate about empowering creators and making design accessible to everyone.
