Job Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Kamusta, hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia, but with many of our Canvanauts calling the Philippines home, our office in Manila is a buzzing place. Whether your role needs you in the office, at home or a bit of both, we've created an environment that truly empowers you to thrive.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

As Canva scales its brand presence across Southeast Asia, we’re running more brand media campaigns - and we need strong delivery to match this ambition.

As SEA Brand Media Manager, you’ll be the day-to-day execution lead supporting our brand media campaigns across the region. You’ll work closely with our media agencies to keep campaigns moving: briefing, trafficking, QA, launch, optimisation and reporting. You’ll also bring the technical confidence to sense-check setups, ask the right questions, and flag issues early - especially across platforms like DV360, CM360, Meta and TikTok.

You’ll report to the SEA Brand Media Lead, who owns the overarching strategy and larger decisions. Your focus is making sure campaigns are delivered smoothly, accurately, and to a high standard.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Coordinate end-to-end campaign delivery across Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines - from agency briefing through launch, optimisation and wrap reporting
  • Be the day-to-day point of contact for media agency partners, keeping timelines, deliverables and approvals on track
  • Support trafficking and QA across platforms, spotting risks early and escalating complex issues when needed
  • Maintain accurate budget tracking and reconciliation across active campaigns, proactively flagging variances and invoice queries
  • Support accurate and timely reporting - pulling, sense-checking and presenting campaign performance on a regular cadence
  • Translate results into clear takeaways for the SEA marketing team to inform next steps
  • Keep cross-market stakeholders aligned through strong scheduling, coordination and project management across time zones

You're probably a match if:

We’re looking for someone with strong foundations in digital media execution - organised, proactive, and confident working in the detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. You’re comfortable holding agencies to a high standard, and you don’t wait to be told when something needs fixing.

  • You have 4+ years of experience in digital media buying or planning, ideally from an agency environment
  • You bring hands-on experience across platforms like DV360, CM360, Meta, TikTok, and other digital media tools
  • You have strong operational instincts — you like things organised, delivered on time, and you build processes to make that happen without being asked
  • You’re analytically confident — comfortable managing budgets, pulling reports, and working with campaign data
  • You have strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset — you spot issues early, come with solutions, and know when to act vs escalate
  • You have cross-market SEA experience — with exposure to markets like Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines
  • You’re familiar with Canva (a plus) — experience using the platform is an advantage
  • You have Bahasa (Indonesian) or Filipino (Tagalog) skills (a plus) — not essential but helpful
