Job Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Vertical GTM ownership: Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy and execution across Canva's enterprise verticals — Higher Education, Real Estate, and Government — including segment-specific positioning, sales plays, pitch narratives, and launch support.
- Segment storytelling: Build a deep understanding of each vertical's customer profile, ICP, pain points, and buying behaviour, and craft compelling narratives designed to move deals forward — including large, complex contracts such as the Canva Campus SKU for higher education and enterprise real estate.
- Sales enablement: Working directly with our Sales Enablement team, equip field teams with the tools, resources, and training needed to sell effectively into vertical segments — including pitch decks, solutions pages, qualification guides, and demo scripts.
- Product launch support: Partner with product and sales teams to support key vertical launches — such as integrations and solutions tailored to regulated or high-compliance industries like government and education.
- Win/Loss and market intelligence: Own the Win/Loss program for your segments, surfacing buyer insights that inform positioning, sales strategy, and product investment decisions.
- Positioning and messaging: Develop clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging for vertical solutions that aligns with Canva's enterprise value proposition and resonates with segment-specific buyers.
- Content development: Partner with cross-functional teams including Customer Marketing, Enablement, and Demand Gen to deliver impactful campaigns and proof points that drive awareness, pipeline, and adoption in target verticals.
- Stakeholder management: Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments across sales, product, legal, and marketing to drive alignment and momentum on vertical initiatives.
You're probably a match if
- You have 5+ years of product marketing or solutions marketing experience — prior direct experience is required for this senior role
- You possess demonstrated success developing and executing GTM strategies for B2B SaaS products, ideally across multiple customer segments or verticals
- You have deep experience with large, complex enterprise deals and an understanding of how to build GTM motions that support long sales cycles and high-value contracts
- You have familiarity with regulated or compliance-sensitive industries (education, government, or similar) is a strong plus
- You possess exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical features into compelling benefits for a wide audience
- You have a strong ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders across sales, product, marketing, and legal
- You have strong analytical ability — comfortable working with Win/Loss data, buyer research, and market intelligence to inform strategy
- You have the ability to juggle multiple projects at once with strong prioritisation skills
- You have a growth mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, eager to learn, and able to forge their own path in a fast-moving environment
- You have a genuine love of creating customer value and solving hard problems
