The Role
As a Technology and Operational Risk Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in leading the management of technology and operational risks within the Constantinople Banking Cloud Platform and corporate environment. You will be joining a growing risk and compliance team, with opportunities to delve deep in the areas of cloud applications, software development, technology resilience, third party management, system operations and IT general controls, while having a strong say in the direction of uplift and improvement activities. You’ll collaborate with various teams to provide advice, drive important initiatives and execute on a range of control assurance and governance activities.

The Role
As a Technology and Operational Risk Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in leading the management of technology and operational risks within the Constantinople Banking Cloud Platform and corporate environment. You’ll collaborate with various teams to provide advice, drive important initiatives and execute on a range of control assurance and governance activities.
What You’ll Do
- Support identification of technology and operational risks within new features and products delivered on the Constantinople Banking Cloud Platform; and perform deep dive reviews on priority risk classes
- Support the design and implementation of controls and monitoring activities across the product and corporate environment
- Drive action plans and uplift activities for control gaps and weaknesses or guide other teams in their uplift activities
- Oversee the Constantinople SOC 2 program and support uplift activities in preparation for ISO27001 certification
- Coordinate internal testing and independent assurance reviews
- Execute meaningful governance activities such as third party due diligence, organisational risk forums and issue/ incident management
- Sound knowledge of technology and operational risk management concepts, frameworks, and standards (e.g. SOC 2)
- Strong understanding of the Australian regulatory landscape as it relates to information technology and operational risk.
- Experience in software development or banking and financial services
- Experience with cyber-security would be desirable
- Strong teamwork skills that foster productive relationships and contribute to company culture
- Ability to work autonomously, tackle complex problems, prioritise, communicate with and influence stakeholders in respect of risk management
