Head of Revenue Operations
Sales & Business Development, Operations
Melbourne, VIC, Australia
Why work with us?
At Edrolo, whilst having the opportunity to be at the forefront of improving teaching and learning for hundreds of thousands of students across Australia, you will have access to benefits such as a variety of leave options; flexible working arrangements to help manage your work-life balance; annual funding for your ongoing learning and development; an inclusive and supportive culture and environment to work in; and regular social events with colleagues across the company.
Edrolo's sales, customer success and implementation, and marketing and product growth marketing teams sit under a single Chief Growth Officer, and revenue operations is a core part of that structure. This is a genuine external search to build what the function becomes next: unified across sales, marketing and customer success rather than siloed within one team, and known for surfacing the insight that shapes growth marketing, sales enablement and customer delight ahead of being asked, not after. We're seeking a Head of Revenue Operations who can lead that function day to day, with a small data analyst team, reporting to the Chief Growth Officer.
Who are we?
Edrolo is a leading EdTech provider headquartered in Melbourne, providing educational resources to over 200,000 students, 17,000 teachers, and 1000 schools across Australia, with a focus on Years 7-12. We provide full-service teaching and learning resources, from textbooks through to high-quality video lessons and exams, complete with analytics and dashboards to make learning fun and effective!
As Head of Revenue Operations, you will:
- Drive proactive commercial insight, building the analysis that shapes how sales and marketing target their effort and how leadership invests, rather than producing reports on request.
- Own the revenue forecast, giving the business a clear and accurate picture of revenue, retention and growth data it can rely on and build decisions from.
- Go beyond the dashboard layer, improving the underlying data structures directly when the model itself is the problem, not just the reporting on top of it.
- Lead a small team spanning a Business Process Analyst, an Operations Associate and a Senior Revenue Operations Analyst, and grow that team into a function known for what it proactively surfaces, not just what it's asked to produce.
- Deliver business intelligence that gives leadership what it needs to make the right investments.
- Build a revenue operations function that is genuinely unified across sales, marketing and customer success, not siloed within one team.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, customer success and implementation, and marketing and growth marketing to shape commercial priorities rather than just service them.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Genuine technical depth and strong SQL, with the ability to work with and improve data structures directly rather than relying on someone else to fix them — this is not a role for someone who only builds dashboards on top of data they can't touch.
- A track record of growing a data or analytics function inside a scaling company, having built and improved the systems others rely on rather than just reported from them.
- Sound commercial judgement, with a clear sense of what a right answer and a wrong answer look like.
- An instinct to spot what sales and marketing need before they ask for it, and the judgement to turn that into decisions the business acts on.
- Genuinely good people skills through periods of change — this role touches a lot of teams, and bringing people along matters as much as knowing our systems on day one.
- Experience working cross-functionally to shape commercial priorities, not just service them.
A few nice-to-haves, but not required:
- Deep domain experience in education.
- Prior experience with our specific tools or systems.
