About the role (What you'll be doing)

You will own Juniper's organic social presence across Instagram, TikTok, You Tube, building a community that trusts us, learns from us, and ultimately chooses us. Reporting to the Head of Editorial, your mission is to grow our organic channels as powerful drivers of brand favourability, education, trust, and traffic—while also creating the content that makes it happen.

Your role is to be both strategist and creator. You'll develop the organic social strategy as well as execute it, manage our day-to-day presence, create platform-native content, engage with our community, and ensure that every post, story, and comment reinforces that Juniper is the most supportive partner in women's health. You're not just posting content—you're building relationships, educating our audience, and creating a community that feels connected to our brand.

You're chronically online in the best way—you know what's trending before it peaks, you understand the cultural moments that matter, and you know how to translate internet culture into content that resonates with our audience authentically.

Your success is defined by your ability to grow engaged, loyal communities on Instagram and TikTok that drive real business outcomes—increased brand favourability, improved trust metrics, educational impact, and meaningful traffic to our site.

We'll also expect you to:

  • Own the Organic Social Strategy: Develop and execute the organic social strategy for Instagram, TikTok and You Tube. Determine what content we need to create, when to post it, and how to optimise for growth, engagement, and our key metrics (trust, education, brand favourability, traffic).
  • Create Platform-Native Content: Shoot and edit content for Instagram (feed, Stories, Reels) and TikTok that feels native to each platform and drives performance. You're comfortable on camera, behind the camera, and editing on mobile or desktop.
  • Stay Chronically Online: Keep your finger on the pulse of what's happening across social platforms. Spot trends, sounds, formats, and cultural moments early and know how to adapt them for Juniper authentically.
  • Build Trust Through Education: Create content that educates our audience about women's health, our products, and our category. Make complex information accessible, relatable, and trustworthy.
  • Manage Community Engagement: Respond to comments and DMs, engage with our community authentically, and build genuine relationships with our followers. You're the voice of Juniper in these spaces.
  • Drive Brand Favourability: Create content that makes people fall in love with Juniper. Show up in ways that are helpful, supportive, relatable, and aspirational—making women want to be part of our community.
  • Optimise for Traffic: Ensure organic social is driving meaningful traffic to our site. Use strategic CTAs, link-in-bio optimisation, and content that naturally drives people to learn more or take action.
  • Collaborate with Content Creators: Work with the Production team, videographers, and creative team to ensure organic social gets the content it needs. Brief shoots, identify content opportunities, and ensure we're capturing what will perform.
  • Track Performance & Iterate: Monitor organic social metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, traffic, sentiment) and use insights to refine your strategy. Know what's working and double down on it.
  • Manage Social Calendar: Plan and schedule content in advance while staying flexible enough to jump on timely moments, trending topics, or reactive content opportunities.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Performance, Creative, and Editorial teams to ensure organic social is aligned with broader brand strategy and campaigns.

About you (Who you are)

  • Experienced Organic Social Manager: 3-5 years managing organic social channels for brands, ideally in health, wellness, or DTC. You've grown engaged communities and driven real business outcomes through organic social.
  • Chronically Online: You're genuinely plugged into internet culture. You know what's trending on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter before most people. You understand the cultural moments, the memes, the sounds, and how to adapt them authentically.
  • Content Creator: You can create content yourself—shoot on your phone, edit Reels and TikToks, write captions, and produce platform-native content that performs. You don't need a full production team to make great content.
  • Platform Expert: You deeply understand Instagram and TikTok—what content works on each, how the algorithms reward different behaviours, and how to optimise for growth and engagement on both.
  • Community Builder: You know how to engage authentically with a community. You're warm, empathetic, and genuinely care about building relationships with followers. You understand that community management is about connection, not just customer service.
  • Educator at Heart: You can take complex information and make it simple, relatable, and engaging. You're passionate about educating people and know how to do it without being preachy or boring.
  • Strategic Thinker: You understand how organic social drives business outcomes. You can connect content strategy to metrics like trust, brand favourability, and traffic—not just vanity metrics.
  • Data-Informed: You're comfortable tracking performance, analysing what's working, and iterating based on insights. You use data to inform your strategy without losing creative intuition.
  • Empathetic & Culturally Aware: You understand that Juniper operates in a sensitive category. You know how to talk about women's health topics with care, authenticity, and respect.
  • Fast & Flexible: You thrive in fast-paced environments where you're creating content daily, jumping on trends quickly, and managing multiple priorities at once.
  • Brand Voice Guardian: You can adopt and maintain Juniper's brand voice across all social content and community interactions. You ensure everything feels authentically Juniper.
