Senior Financial Accountant
Accounting & Finance, Sales & Business Development
Melbourne, VIC, Australia
Posted on Jun 10, 2026
Firmable is the market-leading B2B sales intelligence platform in Asia-Pacific. Our competitive moat is our data: the deepest, most localised company and people dataset in every market we operate in. We've proven the model in ANZ. Now we're scaling it across Southeast Asia and the US.
Five jurisdictions, one finance function. This role keeps the books clean, the close fast, and the numbers leadership can actually rely on.
Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day execution of Firmable's accounting and compliance function across five operating jurisdictions: Australia, New Zealand, United States, Singapore, and India. You will own transactional processing, reconciliations, and month-end close, while supporting the broader financial reporting and planning cycle.
This is not a senior-by-title role: it's hands-on. You'll execute close, reconcile, document, and continuously improve the systems that keep Firmable's finance function audit-ready. You'll work autonomously across time zones, partner with the Head of Finance on reporting and planning, and look for ways to embed AI and automation into how finance operates day to day.
Reporting to Samantha Leigh, Head of Finance (Melbourne).
~75% hands-on execution: month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, compliance, treasury. ~25% process improvement, reporting support, and automation.
What You'll Own
Accounting & Month-End Close
Must Haves
Firmable runs lean and ships fast: small senior teams, no layers, minimal process. The finance function operates at continuous pace across five jurisdictions, with collaboration across time zones and external advisors.
We are an AI-native organisation. That means AI isn't a tool we reach for: it's the default operating mode. AI-assisted close commentary, automated reconciliation checks, agentic research on tax and accounting standards. If you're not already working this way, this role isn't right for you.
