Join Go1 as our Director of Cyber Security, where you will spearhead our commitment to safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring our compliance with industry standards. Leading a dedicated team consisting of specialists in compliance, operations, and engineering, you will architect and ensure Go1's cybersecurity. Your role includes directing security initiatives, performing risk assessments, instituting robust security protocols, and maintaining security certifications (ISO27001 and SOC2). You will collaborate closely with various departments to foster a culture of security awareness and resilience throughout the organisation. Most importantly, you will lead the charge in responding to and mitigating security incidents swiftly and efficiently.

Technical skills:

  • Proven expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices such as; ISO 27001, SOC 2, Essential 8, ISM, GDPR.
  • Comprehensive understanding of network security, vulnerability management, and encryption technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of common security tooling such as Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto Cortex XDR, Sentinel etc.
  • Proficient in security risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledgeable in leading incident response protocols and disaster recovery planning.

What will make you stand out:

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the cybersecurity domain, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cybersecurity teams and developing strategic security initiatives.
  • Proven track record of successfully overseeing compliance, operations, and engineering aspects of cybersecurity.
  • Experience in a SaaS environment is highly desirable.
  • Prior involvement in incident response and security operations is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
