About Human

1 in 3 people in the world have a chronic condition, and this number is growing rapidly. That’s why we are building a platform that is capturing what the world's best doctors and researchers are learning with their patients, so we can generate personalised treatment plans for everyone.
We've just raised the largest ever seed round for a 100% female-founded Australian startup, and we're looking for talented individuals who feel compelled to not just make a meaningful impact on the future of healthcare, but to completely revolutionise it.
If you’re interested, you can find out more about Our Team, Values, Benefits and Interview Process here www.human.health/careers

Our Company Values

🏩 Fix systems, not symptoms.

"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them."

💜 Be clear & be kind.

"Honesty without kindness is cruel. Kindness without honesty is manipulation. Honesty with kindness is integrity."

🧠 Simpler is smarter.

"If you can’t explain it simply you don’t understand it"

💥 Build impact, not empires.

"You haven't truly lived until you have done something for someone who can never repay you."

👐🏽 Lean into vulnerability

"To share your weakness is to make yourself vulnerable, to make yourself vulnerable is to show your strength.”

🌈 Enjoy the ride!

"Having fun is not a diversion from a successful life, it is the pathway to it."

About The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to help us plan, design and develop the user experience of our app!
Your Responsibilities:
Work with the team to:
Gather product requirements and objectives by conducting user research with stakeholders, looking at market trends and understanding business goals
Visually communicate your ideas by sketching, putting together flowcharts, diagrams, illustrations, wireframes & mockups
Bring your ideas to life through prototyping and test them through user research
Proactively communicate and share progress to get feedback, create alignment and move designs from ideation to implementation
Create a detailed and easy-to-use design system by documenting and archiving your work
Work closely with engineering to ship high-quality experiences for our users
Overall responsibilities include:
Setting goals for your area of responsibility. This includes regularly reviewing goal progress and redirecting work to balance speed and quality.
Keeping the team informed of any major changes, needs or risks identified.
Supporting building an innovative, reliable, solution-orientated, and product-minded culture.
Recruiting and managing a team as required.

Required Experience

Must-haves:
5+ years of experience designing, shipping and iterating on user-centric products
Deep experience designing mobile apps, and specifically mobile consumer products
Must have a portfolio of work demonstrating your ability
Experience conducting user research (e.g. user interviews)
You like to think big picture, but are also excited to get your hands dirty getting into the details. You're flexible and focus on solutions, not problems.
Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills — you’ll be collaborating with others and presenting your work regularly.
Experience working with diverse groups of people to bring ideas into reality. Ideally, you understand how to effectively establish relationships, influence, and work in partnership with engineering teams.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience recruiting and managing a team of designers
Experience designing digital healthcare products
