About The Role ๐ค:
As the Engineering Manager for our Immutable Play platform, you will serve as a thoughtful and driven technical leader, thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
This high-impact role involves leading the squad responsible for developing play.immutable.com, the primary gateway for players to discover games. You will guide a diverse team, including Product Manager, Data Scientist, Product Designers, and Engineers, focusing on redefining how players discover, onboard, and engage with both Web2 and Web3 games.
We are seeking a leader who is passionate about building empowered teams, excited to shape the future of gaming and digital asset ownership. The team's core focus will be on rapid iteration, scaling player acquisition tools, and delivering a world-class product that motivates players to discover games they love and inspires them to sign up and return.
You'll Be Empowered To ๐ฎ
- Lead and Innovate: Own the end-to-end player journey. Lead and develop the teams responsible for Immutable Play, guiding them to experiment and ship high-impact features.
- Ensure Delivery Excellence: Establish and enforce best practices for delivery velocity, guaranteeing the high-quality execution of the product roadmap.
- Cultivate High Performance: Foster a culture of high performance, autonomy, and accountability, enabling the team to iterate and learn quickly.
- Drive Technical Strategy: Define the technical evolution of our platform, including onboarding and developing smart matchmaking systems to boost player acquisition and activation. Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data counterparts to define strategy and deliver outstanding user outcomes.
- Mentor and Grow Talent: Coach and grow engineers through consistent feedback, mentorship, and career development planning.
We'd Love You To Bring ๐ค
- Leadership & Development: At least 2 years of experience leading high-performing software engineering teams, including a deep commitment to coaching, career development, and conducting performance reviews.
- Product & Mindset: A builder's mindset with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, consumer-facing products. Must have a customer-centric approach and a passion for solving real user problems, ideally within a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
- Technical Expertise: A strong full-stack engineering background with hands-on experience in building and scaling products, proficient in technologies such as React, TypeScript, or Go.

- Experience leading consumer or product-growth-focused engineering teams.
- A strong interest in gaming or relevant experience within the gaming ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Web3 concepts, technologies, and applications.
- Experience building or contributing to AI-powered features or tools.
