Chief Healthcare Services Officer - Kismet

Join Kismet as our Chief Healthcare Services Officer

We are seeking a bold, visionary clinical leader to join us as our Chief Healthcare Services Officer (CHSO) and build our team. In this executive role, you will shape the future of healthcare delivery across disability, aged care, in-home services and allied health, bringing together clinical governance, digital innovation, and person-centred experience design. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a key member of our leadership team, you’ll be at the forefront of redefining how care is delivered—transforming complexity into clarity, and good intentions into great experiences.

This is not a role for the status quo. We’re looking for someone who is energised by uncharted territory. You will elevate our clinical and customer experience strategy, lead our expansion into new marketplaces and build a high-performance, mission-led health team.

If you’re a clinically credible leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, relentless focus on outcomes, and a passion for reimagining healthcare, we want you on the Kismet team. Join one of Australia’s fastest-growing HealthTech startups and help us deliver care that’s more connected, human, and extraordinary.

Roles and Responsibilities

As Chief Healthcare Services Officer, your remit will span clinical governance, operational leadership, strategic growth, and customer experience.

Build and Lead a High-Performing Profitable Health Services Team

This is one of our largest verticals — and you’ll be fully accountable for its performance. You will lead the business end-to-end, with full P&L ownership of our Healthcare Services division, responsible for balancing revenue, quality, and growth. You’ll drive decisions that create long-term value, designing sustainable service models that deliver both exceptional outcomes and financial results.

  • Own the financial performance of Kismet’s Health Services
  • Translate big vision into disciplined execution: build models, systems and teams that scale.
  • Attract, inspire, and retain top-tier clinicians, allied health professionals, and customer experience team members.
  • Foster a high-trust, high-performance team culture grounded in mission, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Bring ‘Unreasonable Hospitality’ to Customer Experience (CX) in Health Services

  • We’re on a mission to craft experiences that go beyond expectations, delighting our customers and building long-term relationships. Inspired by the principles of ‘Unreasonable Hospitality,’ we’re striving to deliver world-class customer service—going the extra mile to create unforgettable moments that others might think impossible. This commitment to exceptional experiences is at the heart of everything we offer—both to our customers and to the incredible people who join our team.
  • Redesign and elevate the end-to-end customer experience across all health touchpoints.
  • Build CX capabilities that combine digital innovation, proactive care navigation, and exceptional service standards.

Support Acquisition and Integration of Health Assets

  • Oversee acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration into the team, ensuring continuity of care, clinical excellence, and cultural alignment.
  • Build repeatable frameworks for onboarding, service expansion, and operational transformation.

Strengthen Clinical Governance and Safety

  • Lead all aspects of clinical governance across our health and care services.
  • Ensure compliance with national safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Oversee incident management, quality audits, and risk controls to drive a culture of clinical excellence and accountability.

Champion Health Engagement and Advocacy

You will lead Kismet’s presence across the medical and allied health landscape—building strong, values-aligned relationships with clinicians, professional associations, and healthcare boards. You will actively engage with key stakeholders to position Kismet as the most trusted and inspiring place for healthcare professionals to work, collaborate, and innovate.

Your role is both strategic and hands-on:

  • Advocate for the needs and aspirations of clinicians—translating their insights into better products, experiences, and partnerships.
  • Represent Kismet at industry forums, clinical events, roundtables, and board discussions.
  • Build coalitions and influence within health communities to elevate Kismet’s profile as a force for good in healthcare.
  • Inspire confidence in our model, mission, and culture—serving as a credible voice clinicians turn to and trust.
  • Help shape how Kismet listens, learns, and shows up for those delivering care on the ground.

You are part diplomat, part strategist, and part connector—able to elevate clinician voices while aligning them with our broader mission to transform healthcare access and outcomes.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:

Progressive, Future-Focused Leader

  • You’re a bold thinker with a strong clinical foundation who is motivated by transformation, not tradition.
  • You challenge conventional models and advocate for systems change that benefits people and providers.

Entrepreneurial with Strategic Discipline

  • You think commercially and act decisively. You identify market opportunities and turn them into scalable, sustainable services.
  • You balance innovation with operational rigour.

Clinically Credible, Not Clinically Cautious

  • You bring medical or allied health qualifications and a strong understanding of clinical environments
  • But you’re not bound by “how it’s always been done”—you’re excited by agile, tech-enabled, and person-centred models of care.

Digitally Fluent

  • You understand how technology can be an enabler of better experiences, better outcomes, and scalable impact.
  • You love collaborating with product and design teams to co-create solutions that truly serve.

Builder of Services and Teams

  • You’ve built and led health services from scratch—or helped scale existing ones through innovation, partnerships, or acquisition.
  • You know how to operationalise a vision and lead cross-functional execution.
  • You have experience in building high performing teams.

Human-Centred, Outcomes-Driven

  • You lead with heart, empathy, and purpose—but never lose sight of measurable outcomes and long-term impact.

About Kismet

Our focus: Healthcare globally is suffering from surging living costs, a rapidly ageing population and growing incidence of chronic diseases. Solving these challenges is what we believe in. It's what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can care for each other better, in real time and without borders.

Our solution: We connect the physical and digital worlds to help empower greater access to disability and healthcare services at the tap of a button. Healthcare's fractured system complicates managing health plans and services, increasing costs and limiting access. Our solution creates a connected ecosystem, empowering users to focus on their health.

Our values

For us, these are more than just words on a page — these principles guide each decision we make, serving as the path we'll follow to achieve our goals and mission. These values help us build trust with our users, carers, partners, and even amongst ourselves. Our values ensure that we are the same company that stands for the same things no matter our audience.

  • Be Humble: we listen to others
  • Embrace Change: we learn and adapt
  • Be Better: we make each other better

What We Offer

  • Impactful Work: Be part of a purpose-driven organisation committed to improving healthcare accessibility and making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals within the disability and aged care sectors. Your work will drive meaningful change and empower those who need it most.

With a truly flexible, supportive and fun work environment, we empower you to work in a way that best suits you.
  • Dream Team: Join a vibrant group of bright, passionate individuals committed to our mission and our customers. Founded in 2022 with a small team, you’ll have the opportunity to get in on the ‘ground floor’ of one of Australia’s fastest-growing technology start-ups, backed by local and international VCs. We aim to retain our flat structure and small team size, even as we continue our exponential growth journey.
  • We aspire to operate like elite special forces teams like the navy seals or SAS—highly skilled, mission-driven, and relentlessly focused on excellence. Every team member’s contribution is vital and together, we execute with precision, determination and a shared commitment to achieving our ambitious goals.
  • Personal Growth: We believe in redefining career progression by supporting our team members in achieving both their professional aspirations and personal dreams. We’re committed to empowering our people to thrive in both work and life, helping them reach their fullest potential.
  • Remuneration: We offer a competitive salary, along with an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and a generous bonus and benefits package. We recognise and reward your contributions, ensuring that your efforts are valued and aligned with the company's growth and success.
