About Us

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.

Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.

1,000+ customers across 50+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $100M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI and Graceview.

We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.

Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.

  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.

  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.

If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

About the role

We recently closed a $550M Series D at a $5.55B valuation, backed by Accel, Benchmark, Bessemer, General Catalyst, ICONIQ, and others. We've grown from 40 to 500 people in under a year. The U.S. is quickly becoming our largest market by revenue. And we're just getting started.

We're looking for a VP of Investor Relations to build and lead this function at Legora, someone who can own the relationship between the company and our investor community, and help us tell our story at the highest level. This is a senior, high-visibility role working directly with the CEO and CFO.

What you'll do

  • Build the IR function from the ground up: Own the strategy, messaging, materials, and reporting cadence across our existing and prospective investor base.

  • Be the face to the investor community: Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional investors, venture partners, and financial media, domestically and internationally.

  • Shape the narrative: Partner with our CEO and CFO to translate financial performance, product velocity, and market position into a compelling, consistent story.

  • Own board and investor materials: Lead preparation of board packs, investor updates, presentations, and data packages, accurate, timely, and always high quality.

  • Manage and deepen cap table relationships: Keep existing investors close, field inquiries, manage communications, and surface opportunities across our sophisticated multi-party cap table.

  • Track and communicate the metrics that matter: Define the KPIs our investor base cares about, ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40, and ensure they're communicated clearly and consistently.

  • Stay sharp on the market: Monitor the competitive landscape, peer benchmarks, and SaaS/AI market dynamics to keep our positioning and messaging current.

Who you are

  • You have 8+ years in investor relations, investment banking, buyside investing, or equity research, with meaningful time in SaaS or enterprise tech.

  • You know SaaS business models and the financial metrics institutional investors care about. You can build the model and explain it in a room full of VCs or analysts.

  • You've supported fundraising processes at high-growth, venture-backed companies and represented the company at investor conferences and roadshows. You know what institutional investors expect and how to run a process at pace.

  • You've built and maintained investor relationships across complex cap tables and navigated sophisticated, multi-party stakeholder dynamics.

  • You write and speak with clarity and precision. You can distill complex strategy and financials into narratives that land with sophisticated audiences.

  • You've supported or led fundraising at high-growth, venture-backed companies, Series C and beyond preferred.

  • You have an established network across institutional investors, VC, and/or investment banking, particularly in tech and SaaS.

  • You operate well with autonomy. You're a self-starter who takes ownership, moves fast, and holds a high bar for your own work.

Nice To Have

  • Experience in legal tech or AI, or international investor relations (particularly across European markets).

What's In It For You

  • Global collaboration: Partner with teams and clients across Stockholm, New York, London, and Sydney.

  • Competitive package: Comprehensive salary, benefits, and tools for success.

  • Meaningful work: Your efforts shape how thousands of lawyers use AI daily.

  • In-person environment: Union Square office designed for ambitious builders and company provided lunch daily.

  • Benefits & Perks: We invest in our people with a comprehensive, thoughtfully designed benefits package:
    Medical, Dental & Vision

    • Multiple medical plan options via Aetna and Kaiser Permanente

    • HSA or Healthcare FSA (based on plan selection)

    • Dental plans via MetLife

    • Vision plans via Vision Care

  • Family Support

    • Generous parental leave

    • Free access to Maven Clinic

    • Dependent Care FSA

    • Free One Medical membership for employees and dependents

  • Additional Perks

    • Pre-tax commuter benefits

    • Life Insurance + STD/LTD

    • 401(K) with generous company match

    • Unlimited PTO

    • Robust voluntary benefits, including identity protection (via Aura), legal coverage via MetLife, pet savings programs, and more
