We are seeking a seasoned Staff Product Manager, Payments to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in driving our payments strategy, ensuring seamless and secure transactions across our platform. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in payments systems and marketplace platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, scalable payment solutions that support our growth and improve the user experience.
Strategy Development:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and refine the payments strategy within the context of our marketplace platform.
  • Develop a clear product vision, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with business goals, focusing on optimizing the payments experience for both buyers and sellers.
Product Development:
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for payment solutions, from ideation and design to launch and iteration.
  • Drive feature prioritization, user experience enhancements, and integration with third-party payment providers and financial institutions.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, data, and marketing teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable products.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive product decisions, optimize payment flow performance, and reduce friction for users.
  • Monitor key metrics, analyze transaction data, and lead A/B tests to continuously improve payment conversion rates and user satisfaction.


Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in product management, with a focus on payments systems, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling payments solutions in a consumer-facing environment.
  • Deep understanding of digital payment technologies, marketplace dynamics, and user behavior, with experience working on complex payment infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid background in data-driven decision making and optimizing payment experiences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and driving product initiatives forward.
Linktree is committed to providing a competitive compensation package. Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $190,000-$230,000 in the San Francisco Bay area. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate expertise, the scope of role and level, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
