Role Overview
We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to lead the evolution of Linktree’s native mobile app. This is a chance to define how millions of creators and businesses interact with their audiences on mobile.
You’ll tackle one of our most important surfaces and continue to bring mobile to parity with web - not through translation, but through thoughtful reimagination of how our mobile experience should work, feel, evolve and ultimately further our mission to empower creators, brands, and business.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end design process for native mobile applications, from early concept to polished launch.
- Reimagine and elevate our mobile experience, driving parity with the web while embracing mobile-native opportunities.
- Design intuitive, scalable user flows and high-fidelity prototypes that capture motion, interaction, and logic
- Leverage iOS and Android capabilities (App Clips, widgets, gestures) to deliver platform-appropriate solutions
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to inform product decisions and validate design direction.
- Develop and evolve mobile design systems, ensuring consistency and design efficiency across teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to deliver cohesive high-quality user experiences.
- Communicate and present your work clearly to cross-functional stakeholders, including executives and founders.
- Mentor and support junior designers, helping raise the bar for craft, systems thinking, and mobile UX.
- Stay updated on mobile design trends and help embed mobile-first design culture within the broader product org.
What We’re Looking For
- 6-8+ years of experience in product design, with deep expertise in native mobile (iOS/Android).
- A portfolio that shows off high-craft mobile work, thoughtful interaction design, and systems level thinking.
- Experience working on legacy mobile apps or products and successfully modernizing them.
- Strong collaboration skills - especially with engineers, PMs, and cross-functional partners
- Fluency with tools like Figma, Framer, or ProtoPie - bonus points for SwiftUI or code-based prototyping!
- A sharp eye for detail, impeccable taste, and a deep intuition for what makes mobile feel “just right.”
- Experience leveraging AI tooling (ChatGPT, Claude, Loveable, VO)
