The Role

Linktree is hiring a Content & Audience Insights Manager to turn audience signals, content performance, and proprietary data into sharper content ideas and business narratives.
You will own the measurement and learning system behind Linktree’s content program. You’ll bring together channel performance, audience behavior, search signals, community feedback, competitive activity, and Linktree’s own data to identify meaningful patterns, audience gaps, and opportunities for the leads responsible for Social, Editorial, and Comms.
This is an insights and recommendations role, not a content creation or channel-management role. You will use existing dashboards, analytics platforms, and listening tools for routine analysis. You’ll partner with Data Science and Analytics to define reporting needs and request new dashboards, complex data pulls, pipelines, and technical validation. You will own the questions, interpretation, and communication of the findings—not the underlying data infrastructure.

What You’ll Own

  • Cross-channel measurement and performance insights: Own the shared measurement framework and recurring readouts across Linktree’s content program, identifying what is working, which audiences we are reaching, and where gaps exist.
  • Testing and learning agenda: Partner with channel owners to design pilots, defining the hypothesis, audience, success measures, and analysis plan upfront.
  • Insight synthesis and recommendations: Turn complex findings into clear internal recommendations and evidence-backed external story opportunities. Explain what the evidence shows, why it matters, what its limitations are, and which team is best placed to act on it.
  • Audience, cultural, and competitive intelligence: Combine audience research, broad social listening, search behavior, community signals, competitor activity, and cultural trends to identify meaningful shifts and opportunities relevant to Linktree.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with Social & Content, Comms, PMM, Growth, Creative, Creator Partnerships, and data partners so insights become usable across the business.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 5-7 years in audience insights, content measurement, marketing analytics, social intelligence, or research.
  • Experience building measurement frameworks, research plans, or audience-insight programs.
  • Experience partnering with Data Science or Analytics to define questions and request the right analysis.
  • Experience creating dashboards and reports, and reading and interpreting social data, social listening tools, search data, and audience insights.
  • A strong ability to separate signal from noise and explain what the team should do next and why.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to recognize which findings are credible, differentiated, and relevant enough to become a story.
  • Experience evaluating performance across multiple channels, audiences, or campaigns.
  • Strong writing and synthesis skills, able to turn complex analysis into a concise recommendation.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and translate business goals into clear content recommendations.
  • Strong curiosity and judgment about which findings are meaningful, actionable, and supported by enough evidence to inform a decision.

Nice to have

  • Experience in SaaS, consumer tech, the creator economy, small business marketing, or digital products.
  • Experience with proprietary data, research reports, trend reports, customer stories, or editorial franchises.
  • Familiarity with SEO, AEO, product analytics, or analytics platforms.
  • Experience partnering with data scientists, comms teams, or growth teams.

Why this role, why now

Global reach, sharper stories. Linktree reaches creators, small businesses, and solo earners across several channels, but activity doesn't always tell us whether we're building the right audiences. This role creates a shared source of truth about who we're reaching and what's creating lasting value.
Interesting subject matter, real business value. Linktree sits at the intersection of creator culture, small business growth, digital identity, and monetization. Your findings can shape channel priorities, product narratives, and how we understand our users.
High autonomy, high visibility. You will own the measurement framework and recurring insights cadence for the content organization, and your recommendations will help senior Marketing partners decide where to invest, test, scale, and stop.
P.S. You don't need to be a data scientist or a content creator, but you do need to ask the right questions and turn evidence into decisions people can act on.
Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $170,000 - $190,000 or roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Final offers depend on multiple factors including location, experience, expertise, and role scope, and may vary from the range listed.
P.S. If you don’t tick every box in this listing, please don’t rule yourself out. We take pride in inclusion and hiring incredible human beings with great potential over ticking boxes – so if this role resonates with you, hit that apply button!
