0 to 1 gun: Senior Product Manager

When people say “Unicorns don’t exist. No person can do all of those things.” I simply respond, “But I can’t be the only one out here?” I mean, just take a look at this JD.
Do you have what it takes to bring a product from 'functional' to 'F**k yes! This is amazing.'? If so, read on…
We're seeking a product leader who knows how to take a big idea and turn it into a solid plan for domination. You're not afraid to get down and dirty with the work, but you also have a knack for rallying the team and getting everyone on board to execute. With a research obsession that's borderline creepy, you're always finding new ways to improve and bring even more value to our members.
So, if you're a team player with a love for learning, a hunger for greatness—Oh and did we mention you’d also be helping to drive positive change for some of the most underserved health challenges on the planet?—head on down and hit ‘Apply’.

About Lived

About the role

What we’re building hasn’t been built before, so when we say 0 to 1 we mean it.
If you’re our future Senior PM, that sentence above just ignited sheer joy, delight and anticipation (it didn’t terrify you).
Lived’s product vision is to build the most accessible way to find the most relevant support for complex and chronic health challenges—starting with alcohol.
We’re unlocking, productizing, and pouring rocket fuel on lived experience and peer-to-peer support to drive better outcomes for people experiencing some of life’s toughest challenges. We’re looking for a senior product leader who has personally taken a product from 0 to 1 and beyond. This means you are:
A strategic gun: You know how to take a vision and break it down into clear product priorities, plans, goals and direction.
An executional whiz: You love getting your hands dirty and doing the doing. You thrive on building solutions that deliver true member value just as much the process you run to bring them to life with the team. If your parents could rename you, ‘Project Management’ would be your middle name (and your passport would look ridiculous).
A research obsessive: You know how to turn our intuitions into educated guesses, so when we take a swing at it, we're more likely to connect. You are in a perpetual state of learning. From creating clear product hypotheses and the metrics to test them, to user and competitor research—your thirst for knowledge and betterment knows no bounds.
A team player: As someone who has 0 to 1'ed before, you know that it's all-hands-on-deck—and consistent collaboration and effective communication are key. You know how to share big picture thinking with leadership and can equally rally engineers into action like there's no tomorrow.

Key responsibilities

Leadership and vision
Take the product vision and turn it into a roadmap, to drive our goals and deliver a world-class product (and one that will be changing lives at that )
Be comfortable (and naturally inclined to) collaborate on ideas, decision-making and solutions to facilitate the team to the best outcome #oneteamonedream
Support driving end-to-end feature development, from launch through to maintenance and monitoring
Proactively seek to define longer-term opportunities in line with the overall product vision and business objectives
Maintain discovery backlog of possible innovations
Work with a cross-functional product team (including engineers, designers and leaders), creating plans and processes that deliver incredible results for our members
Immerse yourself fully into the world of our members and our creators. Understand user pain points, user needs and translate these into actionable insights for the broader team
Establish best practice research and data analysis processes to inform product direction (including user and pricing research, usability studies, and data-driven experiments)
Be driven and obsessed with hypothesis-driven thinking (these should identify underlying user problems, not symptoms, and have clear ways to measure impact).
Help define and measure key product metrics to track and analyze product performance against business goals
Have strong decision-making skills when data isn’t available…using your product principles to guide and prove your hypothesises and assumptions.
