Key aspects of this role

Senior Product Designers at ProcurePro are experienced individual contributors who autonomously own design for their team.

  • Lead and execute design projects:Manage and lead the end-to-end design process for major projects, from discovery to final implementation.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project strategy, requirements, and scope in line with business, user and technical needs.
  • Ability to work and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • User research and analysis:Conduct user research, using appropriate methodologies, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Analyse user feedback and behaviour to inform and improve design solutions.
  • Iterative design and testing:Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, testing outcomes, and changing business needs.
  • Design high-quality user experiences:Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that help the team make decisions. You have mastered your craft across UI, UX, interaction design and information architecture.
  • Ensure designs are user-friendly, and aligned with user needs and business objectives.
  • Collaboration with development teams:Work closely with engineers to solve problems, define solutions, and ensure the feasibility and high-quality implementation of designs.
  • Effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions with your team.
  • Provide detailed design specifications and assets to support the development process.
  • Process improvementContribute to improving design at ProcurePro at a design and product team level.
  • Design SystemContribute to the evolution and maintenance of the design system.

You’re ideal for the role if you have…

  • Senior Designer experience – You have a minimum of 1-3 years in a Senior Product Designer role with a track record of shipping multiple features or products.
  • SaaS experience – Preference will be given to candidates who have experience tackling complex problems and delivering simple, elegant solutions for digital environments, particularly in enterprise SaaS.
  • UI – You can confidently deliver high-fidelity designs and have a strong grasp of the UI skillset.
  • Interaction design – You can confidently create refined interaction designs and build prototypes to aid team decision-making.
  • User research and testing – You know the right time to do research, and can conduct discovery and user testing to help bring clarity and move the team forward.
  • Figma – All of our design work happens in Figma
  • Collaborative approach – You are an effective cross-functional collaborator who utilises feedback and collaborative decision-making to deliver great outcomes.
  • Personal responsibility and sense of urgency – You are results-obsessed & biased towards action.
  • A growth mindset – We’re always hungry to improve and want you to contribute to this.
  • Bonus: Background in construction – This isn’t necessary but it’s a huge bonus if you have prior domain knowledge of construction or construction technology.

Compensation

  • $120-140k + Super (salary based on experience)
  • Computer equipment allowance to ensure you have everything you need to be successful working remotely

All our interviews are recorded and shared internally with the CEO and hiring manager for the role. Recordings are then deleted once a hire has been made. We do this so that our team can make non-biased decisions on candidates to progress by watching an interview for themselves
