About this role

🚀 Ready to build a mini startup?

We’re spinning up a brand new product (think fast moving, lower touch sales/PLG, not your typical enterprise SaaS beast), and we’re on the hunt for someone with serious founder energy to help bring it to life.

You’ll be building, experimenting and growing from day one, working closely with two of our co-founders, Tom and Tim (we like to keep the names simple, but the ideas bold). This is your chance to wear all the hats and make your mark, all while backed by the resources of a scaling startup that’s already nailed product market fit with global reach.

If you're craving impact, autonomy and a bit of chaos (the fun kind), look no further.

About ProcurePro

  • Mission > To save 1 BILLION construction admin hours.
  • What we do > Our market leading technology helps major builders contract with their supply chain by consolidating fragmented and manual procurement processes into a single platform (currently solved by Word, Excel & email).

Values we live by

  1. Better people build better companies
  2. Whole arse it, with ruthless pragmatism
  3. Help the customer win

(We’ll tell you more about these as discussions progress)

Key aspects of this role

  • Own onboarding & activation: Understand where users get stuck or drop off, and fix it — through product flows, tooltips, emails, or anything else.
  • Define and run growth experiments: Test ideas that drive acquisition, retention, referrals or revenue.
  • Do user research: Run interviews, analyse user behaviour, synthesise insights to shape product decisions.
  • Optimise pricing strategy: Work closely with founders to test and evolve monetisation models.
  • Build out marketing & GTM: Set up landing pages, write copy, figure out acquisition loops and channels.
  • Drive PLG metrics: Signups, activations, retention, referrals, virality.
  • Create viral loops: Look for ways to build growth into the product — referral mechanisms, sharing flows, etc.
  • Build attention: Help us get noticed. Run micro campaigns, seed community content, experiment with unconventional tactics.

You’re ideal for the role if you have…

  • Proven experience in product growth, PLG, growth marketing, or a founder/operator background.
  • Comfort straddling both product (user research, activation, pricing) and growth (acquisition, landing pages, campaigns).
  • Hands-on with tools like Webflow, GA, Mixpanel, Segment, Hotjar, HubSpot, Zapier, or similar.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset > high grit, high focus, results oriented, happy to keep iterating and figuring things out on the fly, know how to ship without a 10-person team.
  • Commercial acumen > to understand pricing models, competitors, market sizing etc
  • Strong copywriting skills > with an instinct for messaging that converts
  • Strong analytical skills — ability to dig into data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights
  • Creative and experiment-driven — loves testing, iterating, and optimizing quickly
  • Personal responsibility & sense of urgency > you’re results-obsessed & biased towards action
  • A growth mindset > we’re always hungry to improve and want you to contribute to this

Bonus if you have…

  • Experience working on a PLG product (especially B2B SaaS)
  • Background in startups or acting like a mini-founder inside one
  • Built something from scratch and grown it
  • Knowledge of viral mechanics and network effects
