Reejig is the Work Operating System for the AI powered enterprise.

We give companies a complete, validated view of their work by mapping every role, task, skill, and workflow. With this intelligence, we redesign how work should flow, surface where automation creates the highest leverage, and recommend the right AI agents for the enterprise.

Every change is measured and tied to real operational and workforce impact.

Inside Reejig, we build the same future we sell. We are developing our own AI powered workforce that supports our teams and our customers.

This is a place for builders who want to help define how work will operate in the AI era.

About the role

Enterprise leaders need help changing how work actually gets done.

Reejig helps CHROs, Chief People Officers, and transformation leaders understand their work, identify where AI can create meaningful value, build the agents and workflows that make that change real, and shape their workforce accordingly.

You will help establish and lead the capability that turns customers’ real work into deployed, high-value AI workflows. You will work closely with customer subject-matter experts, work designers, business leaders, and technical teams to understand how work operates, determine what should be built, deliver it to a high standard, and enable customers to operate and improve workflows themselves.

This is a player-coach role. Early on, you will work directly in customer discovery and hands-on builds alongside a small founding team. As the function grows, you will help build the people, methods, standards, and systems that allow it to scale—while remaining close enough to the work to solve difficult problems and maintain a high quality bar.

You will work in deep partnership with Product and Engineering. Customer builds will reveal what

Reejig’s product needs to make possible, easier, safer, and more scalable; product capabilities will, in turn, shape what our team and customers can build. You will be an important part of that feedback loop.

This capability is still being defined. You will have meaningful influence over how it operates, how it creates value for customers, and how it evolves as Reejig grows.

What you’ll do

Lead customer delivery for the build

  • Lead engagements from ambiguous business need through workflow design, build, deployment, adoption, and measurement.
  • Pair with customer SMEs and work designers to understand the tasks, decisions, systems, exceptions, and human judgment behind their work.
  • Determine when Reejig should build for a customer, build with them, or enable them to build independently.
  • Own whether customers deploy what is built and realize measurable value—not simply whether a workflow ships.
  • Enable customer teams to build, operate, and improve high-quality AI workflows themselves.

Establish the delivery model and quality bar

  • Help establish a repeatable operating model for Forward-Deployed AI.
  • Remain hands-on in important builds and difficult technical decisions while creating the standards and systems needed to scale delivery.
  • Establish practical standards for architecture, development, documentation, evaluation, observability, security, governance, maintainability, and production readiness.
  • Build adoption, human oversight, measurement, and feedback into engagements from the beginning.

Partner with Product and build reusable capability

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to improve both customer builds and Reejig’s underlying workflow-building capabilities.
  • Translate recurring customer needs, build friction, and successful workflow patterns into clear product insight.
  • Help determine whether a need belongs in a customer build, a reusable service component, the Certified Workflows Marketplace, or the core product.
  • Enable customer teams to build and operate high-quality AI workflows themselves.
  • Turn successful customer and Reejig-built workflows into trusted, reusable offerings for the Certified Workflows Marketplace.

Build the team and the function

  • Help hire, develop, and lead a growing team of AI builders and customer-facing practitioners.
  • Develop a team that combines customer understanding, work design, technical execution, teaching ability, and sound judgment.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to shape how the function is scoped, staffed, delivered, measured, and evolved.
  • Contribute to Reejig’s practical point of view on what AI can do and how customers should use it.

What success looks like

  • Customers deploy AI workflows that change real work and produce measurable value.
  • The team delivers high-quality builds with increasing speed, consistency, and independence.
  • Customers become capable participants in building and improving their own workflows.
  • Customer work improves Reejig’s product and creates reusable patterns for future engagements.
  • The Forward-Deployed AI team develops a clear, scalable delivery model and a strong technical quality bar.
  • Reejig develops a differentiated, evidence-based point of view on how AI changes work.

What you’ll bring

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience across applied AI, enterprise AI consulting, AI transformation, digital transformation, product implementation, customer delivery, or a related field.
  • Experience working directly with large enterprise customers, ideally Fortune 500 or Fortune 100 organizations.
  • Experience turning ambiguous business problems into deployed AI solutions, workflows, agents, integrations, or comparable applied-AI products.
  • Experience moving AI initiatives beyond prototypes into adoption, measurable business value, and sustained use.
  • Experience hiring, developing, or leading a team—or a clear track record of building structure and capability as a function grows.

Capabilities

  • Strong understanding of enterprise workflows, systems, security, governance, integrations, and organizational change.
  • Enough technical fluency to work credibly with Product and Engineering, including familiarity with APIs, data flows, tool use, evaluations, observability, and human oversight. You do not need to be a career software engineer.
  • The ability to work effectively with business SMEs, technical teams, and executive leaders.
  • Strong teaching instincts and the ability to help customers and teammates build confidence with AI.
  • Product judgment: the ability to distinguish a customer-specific need from a reusable workflow, service capability, or core product opportunity.

Mindset

  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI and a strong desire to keep learning, experimenting, and forming practical points of view.
  • A builder’s mindset and comfort working in an early-stage environment where the team, processes, and playbook are still being created.
  • The flexibility to move between customer conversations, solution design, technical problem-solving, delivery, and team development.
  • Based in the New York City area and comfortable working in a hybrid environment.

Why This Matters

Reejig is at a point of real inflection. We are building a company that will reshape how organisations operate in the AI era. The people who join now are not stepping into a role, they are stepping into a chance to build something with scale and long term impact. If you want work that changes your career and creates meaningful equity upside, this is the moment.
