About the Role

We’re looking for a People & Culture Partner to support our Technology, Product, and Finance teams. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong HR generalist foundation and is growing their business partnering capability.

You’ll work closely with managers on day-to-day people matters, providing practical guidance on performance, employee relations, and team effectiveness, while also supporting the delivery of core People & Culture programs.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll balance advisory support with execution. You won’t be expected to operate as a fully strategic HRBP, but you should feel confident coaching managers and navigating core HR situations with support when needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manager & Employee Support

  • Act as a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees

  • Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and day-to-day team challenges

  • Support employee relations matters (performance concerns, disciplinary processes, exits) with guidance from senior P&C leadership

  • Help managers navigate people decisions with a practical, solutions-focused approach

  • Performance & Development

  • Support goal-setting and performance review processes

  • Partner with managers on performance improvement conversations and documentation

  • Assist with development planning and career conversations

  • Programs & Execution

  • Support the rollout and execution of People & Culture programs (performance cycles, engagement initiatives, etc.)

  • Help improve and maintain HR processes, templates, and documentation

  • Ensure consistent adoption of people practices across teams

  • Employee Experience & Operations

  • Respond to employee and manager questions with timely, clear guidance

  • Partner with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Finance on core processes

  • Ensure alignment with Australian employment legislation and internal policies

  • Global Collaboration

  • Work across teams in Australia, EMEA, and the US

  • Flex working hours occasionally to support global stakeholders

    What We’re Looking For

    Experience

  • 4–7 years of HR experience in a generalist or HRBP capacity

  • Experience supporting managers with performance, employee relations, and day-to-day people matters

  • Solid understanding of Australian employment law

  • Skills & Approach

  • Practical and grounded HR partner who focuses on solutions, not theory

  • Comfortable coaching managers, including on performance and difficult conversations

  • Strong communicator who can build trust with both managers and employees

  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

  • Good judgment with the ability to escalate when needed

  • Ways of Working

  • Comfortable in a remote, globally distributed environment

  • Proactive and collaborative, with a willingness to learn and grow

  • Comfortable balancing hands-on HR support with project work
