As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of our code. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to develop, implement, and execute test plans and test cases. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and addressing defects early in the development cycle, promoting best practices, and mentoring.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand feature requirements and provide QA insights throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality.
- Perform thorough regression testing to identify and address potential issues.
- Investigate, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
Skills & Requirements:
- Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in designing and executing test cases with various manual testing techniques (black-box, exploratory, regression).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in identifying and documenting defects.
- Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira, Zephyr).
- Experience with cross-platform testing (API, web, mobile) and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Postman.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks e.g. Cypress, Selenium (nice to have).
