The Martec has recently raised funding off two leading Australian venture capital funds, and is well resourced for rapid growth. This role presents a great opportunity for an Account Executive to join The Martec at the beginning of a growth journey, with the support and mentorship around them that will create a career defining role.

The Impact you will have:

As an Account Executive you will be responsible for driving growth in strategic, geographic territories. The primary goals are Building Demand, winning new customers, and expanding customers successful use of the platform. You will:

  • Educate and evangelize the Martec Value Proposition
  • Identify, source and prospect, new business sales opportunities to build Demand
  • Exceed Individual Activity, Pipeline and Revenue Targets
  • Engage a range of Talent, Employer Branding and HR executives in evaluation motions
  • Collaborate with our broader team to learn, win and develop our markets together

We are looking for highly motivated, dynamic and experienced sales professionals that bring the following potential to this role. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to manage their time in order to meet the assigned targets for their role.

  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance The Martec’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future
  • Become an expert in content marketing and employer branding
  • Own and Execute each stage, end-to-end, of our sales cycle
  • Prospect for new business opportunities, leveraging multiple channels
  • Conduct discovery, presentation and demonstrations via in-person and on video
  • Negotiate deals through to close
  • Document and track all prospect and deal information using our sales CRM
  • Stay across and adapt to ongoing product and technology developments
  • Work collaboratively with our Community, Marketing, and Product teams to execute sales strategy as The Martec introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products

About you

  • A university degree (ideally)
  • At least 2 year of closing experience within SaaS
  • A track record of achieving activity and quota targets
  • Activity oriented with discipline for building pipeline
  • Ideally some exposure to HR technology sales
  • An interest in the world of employer brand, content marketing, or digital marketing
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and looking to fast-track your career
  • Eager to contribute to the growth and culture of the business
