The Role
The Manufacturing Technician will work closely with the manufacturing team and the CENTAURI software and hardware engineering teams to ensure that quality and throughput are maintained in device production and that quality and production metrics are captured and analysed. The Manufacturing team is led by Max Wisten (https://www.linkedin.com/in/max-wisten/), Transcelestial’s Head of Hardware Engineering. This position reports to Max and will be responsible for providing support to meet production output targets and continuous smooth running of manufacturing operations.

As a Manufacturing Technician, You Will
- Actively participate in the manufacturing of Transcelestial Centauri, our ground-breaking terrestrial laser communications solution
- Improve overall manufacturing processes and schedules
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on the manufacturing line
- Ensure the production yield and targets are achieved
- 0-2 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic proficiency in data entry and using spreadsheets (i.e. Google sheets, MS Excel).
- Hands-on skills in product assembly.
- Have a diploma or higher qualifications in an Engineering discipline like hardware / optics / electronics
