Funny name, serious business

We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $18 million AUD (roughly $12.5 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good.

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

Ever wondered what it's like to be a quality superhero? We're looking for someone to own the quality performance of our products and suppliers. You'll be the champion who swoops in to make sure every single product that lands in our customers' hands is consistently high-quality, every time.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to be the guiding hand for our quality systems and processes. You'll work collaboratively with our team and our suppliers, making sure everyone is on the same page and working together to build a culture of continuous improvement. And because you believe in transparency, all your hard work and results will be clear for everyone to see.

If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in

  • Summarising our suppliers' FY25 Quality performance, providing a clear overview of actual quality versus our annual targets.
  • Building the quality scorecard for FY26 and setting clear quality targets with each supplier.
  • Developing a new automated quality system to facilitate weekly and monthly check-ins with our factories.
  • Creating the FY26 Quality team performance plan.
  • Reporting our quality status at the monthly supply chain metrics meeting.
  • Exploring and validating a new fluorine test to meet our current requirements.
  • Qualifying the quality systems of our new suppliers.
  • Providing risk assessments for new manufacturing techniques and updating inspection documents to proactively avoid quality risks.

Let’s talk about you

  • You're a natural leader who knows that quality is a team sport. You'll use your deep knowledge to coach and support our teams and suppliers in China and hold them accountable for meeting—and exceeding—their quality targets.
  • You're a master of relationships, able to build bridges across the business, particularly with our cross-functional peers and the CX team in the UK, so everyone understands our product quality inside and out. You'll take ownership of quality issues, digging into the root cause and sharing your progress transparently.
  • When it comes to our suppliers, you'll set the gold standard for quality and make sure they have the right people, systems, and processes in place to hit our goals. You'll take action on poor quality, use reporting to drive continuous improvement, and provide active feedback that helps our partners get even better.
  • You’re a highly motivated self-starter who works best when given the freedom to manage your own time. You'll take the initiative to prioritise tasks based on their importance, making sure resources are allocated effectively and on time. You'll be a regular presence at our factories to assess progress and won't hesitate to escalate and resolve issues from start to finish.

You give a crap

Do you want your work to make the world a better place? Do you want to work with other people who feel the same way? What a coincidence — us too!

Why should you work with us?

First off, as a certified B Corp™, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental impact. With our most recent score of 125.5 we’re in very good company with other exceptional B Corps around the world.

We also believe that helping to make the world a better place should be rewarded accordingly – that’s why we offer competitive, market informed salaries, meaningful support towards healthcare for our team around the world, generous paid leave, tailored learning and development opportunities, and free toilet paper (yes, you read that right).

Our engagement surveys (thanks Culture Amp!) tell us that our team is really proud (95%) to work for Who Gives A Crap and, well, we couldn’t be more proud of that.

Have you made it this far?

If you’re still reading, we think there’s a strong chance you might be our kind of person. Here’s the thing, though — research suggests that 60% of women and underrepresented folks might have already talked themselves out of applying. Even if you don’t check every box above, we want to encourage you to introduce yourself. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger — and the stronger our team, the closer we are to delivering toilets and clean water for all.
