The Role You’ll Play:

We have an opportunity for a Senior Account Executive to join our Commercial team and contribute to the growth & success of both Zepto and our enterprise customers.

Known for your sales success, payments expertise, approach to solution selling and ability to originate enterprise deals, you're a high performing sales executive with a passion for payments innovation and the future of real time payments.

Reporting into our Head of Sales, you'll have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented experts in the industry as we embark on becoming the leading real-time payments technology platform.

Working in a scale-up, means you get the opportunity to flex your skills in a variety of ways. We are agile and always willing to roll up our sleeves to get things done. You can, however, expect your day to day to include the following:

  • Proactively identify, drive and close enterprise deals in line with Zepto's Go To Market strategy and growth direction
  • Negotiate commercial deals that enable win/win solutions for both Zepto and our enterprise merchants
  • Meticulously manage your business including pipeline, revenue forecasts and sales activity in Salesforce - you're brilliant at the basics
  • Represent Zepto in the industry and at networking events, championing your passion for payments, our products and your expertise in the space
  • Build strong, respectful internal relationships with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Compliance, Finance, Product, Marketing & Solutions and work together as a unified team to deliver outstanding products, value and service for our customers
  • Strategic planning to build your pipeline and to enable you to be an expert across verticals

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in enterprise sales within the payments industry, coupled with a deep passion for payments innovation
  • A hunter mentality to develop business via existing networks or a strategic approach to business development
  • Demonstrated success in solution selling - you are known for deep diving into the problems of your customers and providing them with the best fit solutions that support their success
  • An understanding of the importance of operational excellence, ensuring that you meticulously manage your pipeline, forecasts and financial and non-financial sales metrics
  • The ability to operate across a range of verticals with a passion for research, uncovering opportunities and strategically developing business across industries
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close complex enterprise deals
