The Role You’ll Play:

As Zepto's Head of Sales Operations, you be a strategic leader within the Commercial team and be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the processes, tools and systems that support the sales organisation. This role is central to ensuring our Commercial function has the necessary resources to meet and exceed revenue goals while fostering operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales processes, strong leadership skills and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

In our current scale-up phase, this role is a stand alone leadership role where you will be focused on building the sales operations capability at Zepto with the view to grow a team in time. You will play a key role within Zepto's Commercial Leadership Team and report into the Chief Commercial Officer.

Working in a scale-up, means you get the opportunity to flex your skills in a variety of ways. We are agile and always willing to roll up our sleeves to get things done. You can, however, expect your day to day to be involved in the following:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales operations strategy aligned with Zepto's goals and objectives.
  • Process Optimisation: Streamline and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and scalability. Identify and implement best practices.
  • Sales Enablement: Ensure the sales team has the tools, resources, and training needed to be successful. Collaborate with other departments to create and deliver sales training programs.
  • CRM Management: Oversee the management of Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and effective use by the sales team.
  • Sales Analytics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor sales performance. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Sales Forecasting and Planning: Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities, ensuring that there is a strong alignment with finance and other key departments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Technology & Product, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and execution of sales operations initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the sales operations team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies that can enhance the sales process. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Leadership experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related field within a hyper-growth, enterprise sales organisation
  • Demonstrated superuser experience in Salesforce with the ability to optimise the platform to suit growth objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organisation and present information at all levels with impact.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability and agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
