The Role

We're looking for a Customer Success Manager who can blend enterprise-level customer success expertise with data know-how. You'll be the trusted advisor for your portfolio of enterprise clients—guiding them from onboarding through adoption, ensuring they get real business value from Thematic, and building lasting relationships along the way.

This is a New Zealand based role, and the location is flexible as Thematic is a remote-first company.

What You'll Do

  • Own relationships with a portfolio of enterprise customers—guiding them from implementation through adoption and expansion
  • Own customer process on SaaS configurations, integrations, and data (think: Excel/CSV wrangling, SaaS configurations, workflows)
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Research and Engineering to drive client success, growth, and retention
  • Share best practices and creative solutions to help clients get the most from Thematic
  • Contribute directly to our key company metric: Net Revenue Retention (NRR)

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree & 3-4+ years in Customer Success, Customer Account Management, or Solutions Engineering (ideally with enterprise SaaS)
  • Aptitude and comfort not just with SaaS platforms, but also with integrations, and custom data manipulation in Excel/CSV
  • Excellent communicator and comfort across our channels and tools: Slack, Jira, Google Suite, Zoom, email
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to solve real-world business problems
  • A passion for insights, analytics, and customer experience
  • Start-up experience (you thrive in fast-moving, dynamic environments)

Some coding or scripting background.

Target compensation is $90,000 NZD per year inclusive of bonus based on experience, plus monthly remote-work stipend.
